Load Capacity Tested to ISO 8611
Buyers rarely see real load data for molded pallets, so we publish ours. Two pallet samples were tested by SGS-CSTC Shanghai against ISO 8611-1:2011, the international standard for pallet performance. The test sample measured 1100 × 1100 × 135 mm.

ISPM 15: No Fumigation, No Heat Treatment Stamp Needed
Presswood pallets are pressed from wood chips and residues at roughly 200 °C under more than 20 MPa of pressure. That combination of heat and pressure removes bark and destroys insects and larvae, so the finished pallet is classified as a processed wood product and is exempt from ISPM 15 treatment.
For your shipments this means no fumigation certificate, no heat-treatment stamp to chase, and no quarantine hold at destination.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are your molded pallets exempt from ISPM 15?
Yes. Because the pallet is pressed from wood residues under high heat and pressure, it falls outside ISPM 15 as a processed wood material. You do not need fumigation or a heat-treatment stamp to export with it.
How much weight can a presswood pallet carry?
Tested to ISO 8611-1:2011 by SGS, our 1100 x 1100 x 135 mm pallet reached a forklift bending ultimate load of 2,554 kg and a stacking deck ultimate load of 10,018 kg. Tell us your pallet size and load pattern and we will confirm the figure for your model.
Are Higrade pallets REACH and RoHS compliant?
Yes. In March 2026 CTI screened our pallets against 253 REACH SVHC substances and the RoHS restricted list including lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBBs, PBDEs and four phthalates. All were not detected. Both reports are recent and available on request.
What formaldehyde class are your pallets?
SGS tested the pallet board to ISO 12460-5:2015 and found no detectable formaldehyde, which meets Class E1 (8 mg/100 g) under EN 13986. That makes the pallets suitable for enclosed storage and container shipping where emission limits apply.
