Spread the love

The Higrade presswood pallet hot-press molding machine is a complete pallet production line built around a 1,000-ton hydraulic press. The line comprises a wood chipper, crusher, dryer, glue mixer, storage tank and the core molding press. Working pressure is adjustable between 18 and 20 MPa; one pallet takes about 360 seconds to form, giving a single-machine output of roughly 200 pallets per 24 hours. The maximum pallet size is 1300 x 1200 mm, and changing the mould switches the line to other specifications. The press runs in fully automatic mode for pressing, de-moulding and stacking, or in manual mode. Installation needs no foundation positioning, and Higrade provides on-site installation, video guidance and long-term after-sales support.

What This Line Produces

The 1,000 T hot-press is the heart of the operation; the equipment around it exists to keep fibre flowing into that press at the right moisture content, resin load and weight. A full line comprises wood chipper, crusher, dryer, glue mixer, storage tank and the molding press itself — quoted as one integrated specification rather than as separate machines that somehow have to work together.

Output depends on mould size and cycle time. Published capacity for this configuration is 200 pallets per 24 hours, and the maximum pallet size the press table will accept is 1300 × 1200 mm, which covers every standard footprint in commercial use including 1200 × 1000, 1200 × 800, 1100 × 1100 and the 800 × 600 half-size formats.

Because raw material is recycled wood fibre, straw and bamboo rather than sawn timber — the same material specification our pallets are made from — input cost is structurally lower than for conventional pallet manufacture. That, not labour saving, is where most of the unit economics come from.

Installation and Commissioning

  • Foundation — yes, the press requires a prepared foundation. We supply the load and anchoring drawings before delivery so civil work can proceed while the machine is being built.
  • Services — the line needs three-phase power and compressed air; the 23 T machine has a 3300 × 1600 × 3400 mm footprint, so confirm your bay dimensions against the drawing first.
  • Hydraulics — four main cylinders of 400 mm diameter on an 18–20 MPa working pressure circuit with 600 mm stroke, driven by an 11 kW power pack.
  • Commissioning — we install, start up the line with your raw material and train your operators to run it before we hand over.

Quotation, Lead Time and After-Sales

Every line is quoted against the pallet sizes and deck patterns you intend to produce, because the mould is specific to those dimensions. Send us your target pallet sizes, daily output requirement and available floor area, and we will return a full equipment list, layout drawing, power specification and price.

After-sales covers wearing parts, hydraulic spares and remote troubleshooting. We also supply the modified MDI adhesive process parameters our own pallets are made with — for most buyers, the point of buying from a pallet manufacturer rather than a general machinery maker is exactly that: you get the production recipe along with the machine.

For buyers who need higher automation or continuous output, ask about the fully automatic line, which adds a servo-driven four-station distributing system and robotic take-out.

Frequently Asked Questions

What equipment does a presswood pallet production line include?

The line includes a wood chipper, crusher, dryer, glue mixer, storage tank and the core hot-press molding machine. The auxiliary units can be combined with the press for fully automatic production.

What is the output and the molding cycle time?

One pallet takes about 360 seconds to form, giving a single-machine production capacity of approximately 200 pallets per 24 hours. Actual output depends on the configuration and process.

What is the maximum pallet size, and can the line produce other sizes?

The machine handles pallets up to 1300 × 1200 mm. It is designed for mould changes, so other pallet specifications can be produced on the same press.

Is a foundation required for installation?

No foundation positioning is required. Higrade can send technicians for on-site installation, or provide video guidance, together with long-term after-sales support.
